The word "Immanuel" means "God with us."
Our mission is to share that truth--that God is with us--with the world around us.
We seek to share the love of Jesus with our local community, our district, and our global partnerships. We're always dreaming up new ways to be a blessing to others and spread the hope that we have in Christ with a world who needs to know His endless grace and peace.
Local
Immanuel seeks to be a blessing in every way possible to the City of Hood River, Hood River Valley and the entire Columbia Gorge region. We believe we have been called by our Lord Jesus Christ to minister to our community with acts of love and service.

We are a member congregation of the Northwest District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, in partnership with over 260 Lutheran congregations throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the entire northwestern region of the United States.
